With the increasing popularity of the Paleo Diet, many people are turning to agave nectar as a sweetener in many of their favorite recipes. It’s understandable to see why people would think of using agave nectar as it doesn’t add any other flavors like many sweeteners and it tastes sweeter than sugar. Unfortunately, it’s not Paleo and it’s definitely not good for you. So imagine my surprise when I was walking through the aisles of my local Costco only to be confronted by a gigantic pallet of agave nectar. The labeling advertised it as a “low glycemic organic sweetener” and it must have worked because it was selling like there’s no tomorrow. Today, we’ll discuss some of the reasons why you should reconsider indulging in this sweet poison to read entire article click here

Way to go everyone tonight. Alot of things were different, the times of the wods, a few exercises and even some new faces. We’re impressed at how well everyone did with the new movement. Even though we needed to go lighter in weight, I think everyone had a great workout.
Funny how a power snatch seemed easy last night in comparison to the snatch balance. That was a good one! Thanks Nick!
After going paleo for a month and feeling great, I’ve been on a 3 day fast food binge and I’ve never felt more like butt in my life. I wouldn’t recommend this fast food lifestyle and I am planning on starting back up on paleo very soon.
Ashley, I think that was the wrong Kelsea =)
ahhhhhhhhhh my neck is killing me!!! bruised spine for sure!
I am bruised from shoulder to shoulder! That work out might have been the best example of my love hate for Crossfit!
Nick – Thanks for the “Liquid Death” article, I would have probably been in the dark long enough for some not so stealthy triglycerides to build up in my system from this ‘all natural’ sweetener.
Speaking of knowing the dangers of sweeteners, ‘all natural’ or not. Wondering where Stevia has been for the last few decades while Aspar – ‘I want to kill you slowly but surely’ – tame has been dominating the sweetener market? http://www.zerohedge.com/article/sugar-sweet-story
Kels – Is it a little early? I think your words are a little jumbled up. Maybe you need a couple more hours of sleep.
it was an AD of some sort…. you silly geese.
